About Me
I am a graduate of Eastern Michigan University with a science degree in psychology and sociology. I spent time working for one of the local hospices as their coordinator of volunteer support. During this time, I realized the draw toward caring for those in such vulnerable times.
In 2010 I began the masters in social work program through Portland State University. I finished at the top of my class in 2013.
I continued to work for local hospices as one of the interdisciplinary team members in a social work role.
Due to a deep personal loss I took several years of work off and have returned to run my private practice.
I opened my doors in April of 2019.
Working as a therapist in my own practice has always been my goal. I am so glad to be of service to our community and beyond, whenever possible.
"To "listen" another's soul into a condition of disclosure and discovery may be almost the greatest service that any human being ever performs for another." Douglas Steere
